Hi, I am the Messy Geek, and the above three quotes were completely made up.
If you’ve come to this page, you’re probably interested in knowing who I am, and what I do. I’ll let you know as soon as I have answers to those questions myself. For now, the only things I can tell you with reasonable confidence are that I am a male human adult geek (although sometimes I question the “adult”part) who probably just screwed up the order in which adjectives are supposed to appear in a sentence. I take interest in a variety of topics, such as lame jokes not unlike the one posted above, playing video games, learning how to make them, singing, playing the guitar, and also some photography when I find people willing to stand in front of my camera until their limbs start to ache. I also love to cook, and so far nobody has died from my cooking as far as I know, so I would say I’m pretty good. In real life (by that I mean the portion of my life for which I have to begrudgingly step out of the house) I work as a software engineer, writing code to make people’s lives easier while making mine miserable. As such, my mind is always full of things that I want to talk about but inevitably end up forgetting. Hopefully now that I have this blog, I’ll have a place to write things down.
I wish I could tell you what I want to write about, but once again, I myself don’t know that very well. Most likely the topics will cover stuff that fascinates me. So one article could be about black holes, while another could be a tutorial on how to pick up the chords to your favorite song on the guitar. Just keep an eye out for new blog posts. I’m sure they’ll be interesting.
